Automatic paint and coating robot's wrist has 6 degrees of freedom and can move flexibly. The wrist of a more advanced paint spraying robot uses a flexible wrist, which can bend in all directions and rotate. Its movement is similar to that of a human wrist, and it can easily extend into the interior of the work piece through small holes to spray its inner surface. Painting robots are generally driven by hydraulic pressure and have characteristics of fast movement speed. They can be taught by hand holding or point position indication. Painting robots are widely used in automotive, instrumentation, electrical appliances, enamel and other process production departments.
Characteristics of automatic paint and coating robot:
1. Accurate spraying, long normal operation time, low paint consumption, and short working rhythm. It can work 24 hours without interruption, with high reliability;
2. Fast spraying speed, uniform spraying, automatic adjustment of the spray gun height, front and rear, and angle positions according to work piece changes, flexible spray size control, 360 degree omnidirectional spray without dead corners;
3. Spraying robots can simultaneously spray 2-5 different products, one to multiple;
4. The spraying robot has a long service life, no easy to lift parts, and simple maintenance. Compared to the five-axis painting platform, it has fewer vulnerable parts such as guide rails and belts;
5. For the corners of the motion trajectory, the circular arc filtering function can be used. At the end of the straight line, the circular arc filtering is directly performed to the next line without stopping. The speed does not stop, improving efficiency and reducing the impact of starting and stopping;
6. Spray gun triggers can be arbitrarily added to the motion trajectory, and spray position switch guns can be added according to product requirements to reduce paint waste.
