Light weight six axis robot is designed for a rated load capacity of 7kg to optimize the performance and dynamic performance of the robot. By reducing the load spacing, higher loads up to the maximum load capacity can also be used. Special load situations must be accounted for and checked. If you need detailed consultation, please contact the BORUNTE Robotics R&D center. Running over load can cause the gearbox and motor to work excessively, leading to increased wear, increased temperature, and reduced lifespan. Severe overloading may lead to gearbox damage and safety accidents.

 

Precautions for installation and maintenance of harmonic reducer in light weight six axis robot:

 

1. According to the service life of the reducer provided by the reducer manufacturer, the design life of each shaft harmonic reducer is 15,000h.

 

2. The harmonic reducer is a high-precision component that has extreme stress. Excessive pushing, pulling, and unreasonable collision can cause damage to the internal structure of the reducer, resulting in reduced accuracy or abnormal noise. In severe cases, it can cause the flexible wheel of the reducer to break and the reducer to be scrapped.

 

3. The harmonic reducer must be installed in a sufficiently clean environment, and no foreign objects are allowed to enter the interior of the reducer during installation to avoid damage to the reducer during use.

 

4. Please ensure that the gear surface and flexible bearing parts of the reducer are always fully lubricated. It is not recommended to always use the gear face upwards, as it will affect the lubrication effect.

 

5. After installing the cam, please confirm that the engagement between the flexible wheel and the rigid wheel is 180 degrees symmetrical (Figure A). If it deviates to one side (Figure B), it will cause vibration and quickly damage the flexible wheel.

 

6. After installation, please run at low speed (1000 rpm) first. If there is any abnormal vibration or noise, please stop and contact our company in a timely manner to avoid damage to the gearbox due to incorrect installation.
