Give play to the role of industrial robots to promote the development of high-end precision machining
Nowadays, the trend of machines replacing people in manufacturing industry is more and more obvious. In the context of the gradual fading of the demographic dividend, how to play the role of industrial robots and promote productivity has become the key point.
1. Application of industrial robots
Industrial robots in China were previously used in large and medium-sized enterprises. In the past two years, work stoppages in labor-intensive industries have occurred from time to time. In this context, the introduction of industrial robots has greatly improved the automation level of SMEs. China has established a relatively stable supply chain, which has attracted worldwide demand and stimulated the domestic manufacturing industry's demand for industrial robots. The demand for automation transformation emerging in the general industrial field and emerging fields is an opportunity for the development of industrial robots. Emerging fields have become fertile soil for the development of domestic industrial robots. In 2021, the shipment of industrial robots in China will reach 256300 sets.
In the past, industrial robots were widely used in automobile manufacturing for stamping, spot welding, assembly, painting and other processes. With the upgrading and transformation of the manufacturing industry, the next potential field will be the electronics field.

2. Industrial chain development and cost proportion
The industrial chain of industrial robots is mainly divided into three parts: upstream core parts, midstream ontology manufacturing and downstream system integration. The upstream core components mainly include reducer, servo system and controller, accounting for more than 60% of the cost of industrial robots. Midstream body manufacturing involves the overall structure design and processing of industrial robots, with the cost accounting for about 25%. The downstream system integration is aimed at the majority of users, with the cost accounting for less than 10%.
Policy development environment
In December 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other 15 departments jointly issued the "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" for the Development of Robot Industry. By 2025, the average annual growth rate of China's robot industry revenue will exceed 20%. By 2035, robots will become an important part of people's lives.
With the strong support of national policies, all provinces and cities have introduced a series of policies to support and guide the development of industrial robots in combination with local conditions. For example, Beijing has released the Action Plan for Innovation and Development of the Robot Industry in Beijing, focusing on breakthroughs in key core and cutting-edge technologies of robots. Various regions have also introduced relevant policies on the technological breakthrough of core components: The Fourteenth Five Year Plan for the Development of Shanghai's High end Equipment Industry issued by Shanghai pointed out that high-precision robots should be developed for processing and other scenarios; The Fourteenth Five Year Plan for the Development of Guangxi Machinery and High end Equipment Industry Manufacturing Cluster issued by Guangxi pointed out that it is necessary to actively open up new blue ocean markets such as robots, unmanned aerial vehicles and tourism, focus on the cultivation of robots, intelligent manufacturing equipment and emergency equipment industries, and achieve "acceleration" in the new track.

3. Development Prospect of Industrial Robot
In recent years, key components such as RV reducer and servo motor have played a certain role in restricting industrial robots in China, and the country has begun to improve the performance of key components of industrial robots. Promote the standardization of robots, accelerate the research and formulation of urgently needed standards, and strengthen the application and promotion of standards. In addition, the state attaches importance to establishing and improving the innovation system, giving play to the role of key robot laboratories, engineering (technology) research centers, innovation centers and other research and development institutions, strengthening research on cutting-edge and common technologies, and accelerating the transformation of achievements.
With the expansion of the application scope of industrial robots, there is a growing demand for robots in non manufacturing industries such as construction, agriculture, mining, disaster relief and other fields of daily life. Therefore, robot technology suitable for more intelligent application will become a research hotspot in the future. Industrial robots may develop towards miniaturization and more precise manufacturing process.
