The spraying robot mostly adopts 5 or 6 degree of freedom joint structure. The mechanical arm has a large movement space and can do complex trajectory movement. Its wrist generally has 2 to 3 degrees of freedom and can move flexibly. The wrist of more advanced paint spraying robot adopts flexible wrist, which can bend in all directions and also rotate. Its action is similar to that of a human wrist, and it can easily extend into the inside of the work piece through a small hole to spray its inner surface. The spray painting robot is generally driven by hydraulic pressure, which has the characteristics of fast action speed and good explosion-proof performance. It can be taught by hand or by point. Spray painting robots are widely used in automobile, instrument, electrical appliances, enamel and other process production departments.
Main advantages of spraying robot:
1. Large flexibility. The scope of work is large.
2. Improve spraying quality and material utilization rate.
3. Easy to operate and maintain. It can be programmed offline, greatly reducing the on-site debugging time.
4. High equipment utilization. The utilization rate of spraying robot can reach 90% - 95%.
Types and characteristics of spraying robots:
1. Airborne spraying robot
Airborne spraying robot is also known as low pressure pneumatic spraying. The spraying machine relies on low pressure air to make the paint form atomized airflow after spraying out of the muzzle to act on the object surface (wall or wooden surface). Compared with the hand brush, the pneumatic spraying has no brush marks, and the plane is relatively uniform. The unit working time is short, which can effectively shorten the work period. However, there is splash phenomenon in air spraying, and there is a waste of paint. When you look closely, you can see very fine particles. Generally, air spraying adopts the air compressor commonly used in the decoration industry. Relatively speaking, one machine is multi-purpose, with low investment cost. There are also special machines on the market, such as air extraction type air spraying machine and self falling type air spraying machine.
2. Airless spraying robot
Airless spraying robot can be used for the construction of high viscosity paint, with clear edges, and even for some spraying projects with boundary requirements. Depending on the type of machinery, it can be divided into pneumatic airless spraying machine, electric airless spraying machine, internal combustion airless spraying machine, automatic spraying machine, etc. In addition, it should be noted that if the metal surface is sprayed, it is better to use metal paint (enamel).
