MAG welding: high manganese and high silicon welding wire should be used when welding with strong oxidizing gas mixture; For argon rich gas mixture, low manganese and low silicon welding wire should be used;
CO2 welding: add a certain amount of deoxidizer into the welding wire, such as Al (aluminum), Ti (titanium), Si (silicon) and Mn (manganese). Therefore, h08mn2si welding wire is widely used, which contains Mn and Si.
Note: (h08mn2si is low alloy carbon steel for welding. H stands for welding wire; 08 is the carbon content, which is about 0.08%; 2 represents that the content of manganese is about 2%; It also contains about 0.6% silicon. ER50-6 (ER70S-6) welding wire and filler wire are suitable for both single pass and multi pass welding.
