1. RV reducer lubricating oil replacement steps

1) Return the robot to its zero position.

2) Cut off the power supply.

3) Use an Allen wrench 5mm to remove the lubricating oil supply outlet plug.

4) Use an air gun to blow out the grease from the oil drain hole, and connect the oil to the other end of the oil drain hole.

4) Until the old lubricating oil flows out from the oil discharge port, inject new grease into the oil chamber until new grease is discharged.

5) Install the plug onto the lubricating oil supply and discharge port.

6) After supplying oil, release the residual pressure in the lubricating oil tank according to the steps in item 5.4.

2. Steps for Changing the Lubricating Oil of Wrist Components

1) The machine returns to zero.

2) Cut off the power supply.

3) Remove the plug from the lubricating oil supply port on the wrist.

4) Remove the end of the wrist and drain the oil thoroughly.

5) Provide new lubricating grease through the lubricating oil supply port on the wrist until the lubricating oil cannot be injected.

6) Install the plug onto the lubricating oil supply port on the wrist.

7) Install the plug onto the lubricating oil outlet on the wrist.

If the lubrication operation is not carried out correctly, the internal pressure of the lubrication chamber may suddenly increase, which may damage the sealing part, leading to lubricating oil leakage and abnormal operation. Therefore, when performing lubrication operations, please observe the following: Before performing lubrication operations, open the oil drain (remove).

1) Slowly provide lubricating oil, and the oil supply speed should be controlled below 40cc/10 seconds. Do not use excessive force, and a lubricating oil gun with a clear amount of oil must be used. When there is no oil gun with a clear refueling amount, the refueling amount of the lubricating oil should be confirmed by measuring the changes in the weight of the lubricating oil before and after refueling.

2) If the oil supply does not meet the required amount, the gas can be supplied by using a precision regulator to extrude the gas from the chamber, and the air pressure should be controlled below a maximum of 0.025MPa using the regulator.

3) Use only the specified type of lubricating oil. If lubricants other than the specified type are used, it may damage the gearbox or cause other problems.

4) When installing the plug after oil supply, pay attention to wrapping tape and applying sealant to avoid oil leakage at the inlet and outlet.

5) To avoid accidents caused by slipping, excess lubricating oil should be thoroughly removed from the ground and the robot.

6) After supplying oil, follow the steps in item 3.4.4 to release residual pressure in the lubricating oil tank and install the plug. Pay attention to wrapping tape and applying thread sealant to prevent grease from leaking from the supply and discharge ports.

3 Release residual pressure in the lubricating oil tank

After oil supply, in order to release residual pressure in the lubrication tank, the robot should be operated appropriately. At this point, install a recycling bag under the inlet and outlet of the lubricating oil supply to prevent the flowing lubricating oil from flying.

In order to release residual pressure, with the oil discharge port open, the J1 axis is within the range of ± 30 ° and the J2/J3 axis is within the range of ± 5 °. Repeat the operation for more than 20 minutes within the range, and the speed is controlled at low speed.

When the above actions cannot be performed due to the surrounding conditions, the robot should be operated for the same number of times (when the axis angle can only be taken half, the robot should be operated for twice the original time). After the above actions are completed, loosen the vent plug and exhaust before reinstalling (applying thread sealant).
