1. Robot zero point loss

Fault cause analysis: It may be due to unstable power supply or other reasons that the number of turns the motor rotates is lost.

Fault handling: After replacing the battery on the SMB board, perform zero calibration on each axis. Manually move the robot's joints to the zero mark in a single axis motion mode, perform teaching pendant calibration revolution counter update revolution counter operation, and complete single axis zero calibration.

2. The robot switch is aging and the selection is incorrect

Fault phenomenon: The switch is not sensitive, replace it with a new one

Solution: Turn off the power supply of the control system, measure the motor with a winding meter, check if there is a short circuit or grounding in the three phases of the circuit, rotate the motor by hand to see if it is stuck, and replace the switch if necessary.

3. The robot water pump is stuck or there is an internal short circuit in the motor

Fault phenomenon: The water pump is not working and the motor temperature is too high

Solution: Turn off the power supply of the control system, use a winding meter to measure the motor, and check if there is a short circuit or grounding phenomenon in the three-phase circuit (note during measurement: the variable frequency output terminal should be removed to avoid burning the variable frequency output module during testing). Rotate the motor by hand to see if it is stuck, and replace the water pump if necessary.

4. Abnormal suction of robot contactor or relay

Fault phenomenon: Coil zero coil open circuit, intermediate relay head broken

Solution: Check the circuit and replace it with a new relay head.

5. Robot thermal relay frequently trips

Fault causes: mismatched selection of thermal relay, motor failure in thermal relay connection, incorrect parameter setting of thermal relay, etc.

Solution: Check the motor to ensure it is functioning properly, replace it with a new matching main line, and check the parameter settings of the thermal relay.

6. Robot frequency converter often reports faults

Fault cause: incorrect parameter settings, aging frequency converter, overload of water pump, phase loss, loose circuit, etc.

Solution: First reset the frequency converter. If the same fault occurs again in a short period of time, it indicates that the frequency converter cannot continue to work until the work is relieved.

7. Other faults

Symptoms: Unable to start normally, controller fuse blown, controller without display, servo drive failure, etc.

Solution: Check if the power supply is normal, check if the fuse of the controller is intact, check if the controller is working properly, and check if the servo drive is working properly.

It should be noted that different industrial robot brands and models may have different faults and solutions. Therefore, when troubleshooting and repairing, it is recommended to refer to the robot manufacturer's user manual or contact the manufacturer's technical support team for accurate repair guidelines and operating methods. At the same time, in order to ensure the normal operation of the robot and extend its service life, it is recommended to regularly maintain and maintain the robot.
