Precautions for safe operation of industrial robots Safety operation specification
Serious injury may be caused when you enter the working range of the robot. Only trained and certified personnel can enter the area.
1. System security:
Because of the complexity and danger of robot system, we must pay attention to the safety of robot in practice. Any time you enter the working range of the robot, serious injury may be caused. Only trained and certified personnel can enter the area. The following safety rules must be observed:
Disposal of waste generated from on-site operation:
Dangerous solid wastes generated from on-site service: waste industrial batteries, waste circuit boards, waste lubricating oil, waste grease, sticky oil return lines or rags, waste oil drums, and waste disposal methods generated from packaging materials of damaged parts during on-site operation:
• Damaged parts caused by on-site service shall be used by our on-site service personnel or customers after repair.
• For waste packaging materials, our on-site service personnel suggest that customers hand them over to recycling companies for recycling.
• The on-site service personnel will bring the waste industrial batteries and waste circuit boards generated from the on-site service back to the supplier, or the customer will be the exchange object when purchasing new batteries.
• Waste lubricating oil, waste lubricating grease, waste oil drum, waste cotton yarn and rags, etc. It is suggested that customers should collect them by category and submit them to professional companies.
2. Safe operation of industrial robots:
• The security fence must be strong enough and fixed. If it cannot be moved, the operator shall be prevented from easily breaking or removing the safety fence. At the same time, the sharp edges and corners of the safety fence itself shall not have potential dangerous parts.
• The current status of the robot (teaching, operation and maintenance) must be clearly displayed outside the safety fence. Avoid anyone from mistake operating the robot and surrounding equipment through the teaching pendant, such as human-computer interface.
• Please mark the dangerous area on the ground, including the range of motion of the robot and surrounding equipment. In addition, sufficient safety space shall be reserved around and safety protection devices shall be installed for operators to avoid in case of abnormal operation or emergency.

3. Safety awareness and safety specifications of industrial robots:
Danger are easy to identify, but in specific robot systems, the danger sources are often different. The number and type of dangers are directly related to the nature of the automated process and the complexity of the equipment. The risks associated with hazards are related to the type of robot and its application and installation. The programming operation and maintenance mode has changed. Due to the variability of risks in the application of industrial robots, this standard provides safety guidelines for the design and manufacture of robots; Since the safety of industrial robot applications is affected by the design and application of specific robot systems, this standard also provides guidelines for personal safety protection during the installation, functional testing, programming, operation and maintenance of robots and their systems.
Since the variability of risks in the application of industrial robots is confirmed, safety standards must provide safety assurance guidelines for robot design and manufacturing; Since the safety of industrial robot applications is affected by the design and application of specific robot systems, safety standards should provide guidance for personal safety protection during the installation, functional testing, programming, operation and maintenance of robots and their systems.
