1.1 Instructions for Safe Use of Robots

Before carrying out installation, operation, maintenance, and repair operations, please be sure to read this book and other accompanying documents thoroughly and use this product correctly. Please fully grasp the equipment knowledge, safety information, and all precautions before using this product.

1.2 Safety precautions during adjustment, operation, preservation, and other operations

① Operators must wear work clothes, safety helmets, safety shoes, etc.

② When inputting power, please confirm that there are no operators within the range of the robot's movement.

③ The power must be cut off before entering the range of motion of the robot for operation.

④ Sometimes, maintenance and upkeep operations must be carried out while powered on. At this point, work should be done in groups of two people. One person maintains a position where the emergency stop button can be pressed immediately, while the other person remains alert and quickly performs the operation within the robot's range of motion. In addition, the evacuation path should be confirmed before proceeding with the operation.

⑤ The load on the wrist and robotic arm must be controlled within the allowable handling weight. If you do not comply with the regulations that allow for handling weight, it can lead to abnormal movements or premature damage to mechanical components.

⑥ Please carefully read the instructions in the "Safety Precautions" section of the "Robot Operation and Maintenance Manual" in the user manual.

⑦ Disassembly and operation of parts not covered by the maintenance manual are prohibited.

1.3 Safety measures for robot body

① The design of robots should remove unnecessary protrusions or sharp parts, use materials that are suitable for the working environment, and adopt fail safe structures that are less prone to damage or accidents during operation. In addition, emergency stop functions should be equipped during the use of the robot, as well as interlocking functions to prevent the danger of the robot in case of abnormal peripheral equipment, to ensure safe operation.

② If the motor is removed without a fixed robotic arm, the robotic arm may fall or move back and forth. After inserting the zero bolt, secure the robotic arm with a wooden block or crane to prevent it from falling, and then remove the motor (the zero bolt and stop are used to align with the original position and cannot be used to secure the robotic arm). Additionally, do not remove the motor while the robotic arm is supported by human hands.

③ When installing the attached machine on the end and robotic arm, the size and quantity of bolts specified in this manual should be strictly followed, and a torque wrench should be used according to the specifications.

Tighten with fixed torque and do not use bolts that are rusted or dirty.

④ When designing and manufacturing end effectors, control them within the allowable load range of the robot's wrist.

⑤ A fault safety protection structure should be adopted to achieve human-machine separation. Even if the power supply or compressed air supply is cut off, accidents of holding objects being released or flying out should not occur. The edges or protruding parts should be treated to prevent damage to people and objects.
