Analysis of industrial robot application


Industrial robots are used as mainframe machines in most applications such as welding, handling, palletizing and assembly. And this is different, with machine tool matching robot is generally as an auxiliary machine to play a role. The current specific application forms are as follows:


(1) single loading and unloading


Single machine loading and unloading is the most typical and mature application of robot in machine tools. It is more accurate, fast and safe than artificial loading and unloading. The advantages of robot loading and unloading are particularly obvious for the processing of small and medium-sized parts with large production volume and short processing time, or the heavy workpiece that needs to be lifted.


The structure relationship between the robot and the machine tool is divided into two forms: the robot is installed outside the machine tool and the machine tool is integrated. The robots installed outside machine tools are divided into fixed, mobile and truss types.


(2) Flexible production line composed of robots and machine tools


It is a more complex and valuable application for a flexible production line composed of a number of machine tools and a robot to undertake the process conversion of the workpiece. In the current industrial transformation and upgrading process, the market demand is more and more vigorous.


In this application, the layout of the machine tool depends on factors such as the process route and site conditions. Common L, U and linear, face layout and other forms, in which three CNC machine tools constitute a U-shaped layout, by a robot in the middle of the site for workpiece conversion, this layout is very compact.


(3) Work together with machine tools to complete the processing process


The robot clamps the workpiece on the punching, shearing and bending machine to achieve processing operations, not only simple loading and unloading, but instead of all the original manual work. This is more accurate and faster than manual operation, thus improving product quality and production efficiency. In particular, it completely solves the industrial injury hidden danger of stamping machine tools.


(4) Independently complete the processing process


Equipped with a special hand claw, the robot can complete cutting, grinding, polishing, cleaning and other processes. It can even allow the robot to hold the cutting tool directly, and punch, tap, rivet, or cut the workpiece. In this case, the robot is itself a machine tool.


Robots with vision and touch can be used for assembly, parts sorting and other complex processes, even the loading and unloading, but also can not have a positioning device with a special station appliances.


The robot is equipped with special hand claws, which can be used in casting and forging machinery working in high temperature environment to complete the work of taking molten iron, pouring, heating up and down blanks, replacing hot moulds and so on.


Industrial robot is a kind of high flexibility general automation device, its application occasions and functions have infinite space to expand. In the integrated application with machine tools, the specific application forms of industrial robots are also being explored and innovated.
