But according to GGII's budget, the annual sales of industrial robots in China in 2023 were approximately 333,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 9.90%.

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in 2022, Chinese total production of industrial robots reached 443100 units, with a year-on-year growth rate exceeding 21.07%. According to the "14th Five Year Plan for the Development of the Robot Industry" jointly issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission and other fifteen departments, China's industrial robot industry will continue to maintain a high-speed development trend in the coming years. The output of industrial robots in Dongguan has ranked first in China for three consecutive years
The development of industrial robot industry is one of the important paths for high-quality development of manufacturing industry. As of the end of August 2021, the Songshan Lake International Robot Industry Base has incubated 80 entrepreneurial entities, with a cumulative total output value exceeding 3.5 billion yuan. For the entire Dongguan, there are approximately 163 robot enterprises above the designated size, and industrial robot research and development and production enterprises account for about 10% of the total number of enterprises in the country.
According to statistics, Dongguan will produce 165,700 industrial robots in 2022, accounting for 41.2% of the national output, with a year-on-year growth of 2.1%, ranking first in China for three consecutive years.
