There are five questions you need to know about robots

1. Functions and characteristics of robot end tools

The robot hand is a part used to hold work pieces or tools. It is an independent part, which can be a claw or a special tool.

2. According to the clamping principle, what are the end tools classified into? What specific forms are included?

According to the clamping principle, the end clamping hand can be divided into two types: the clamping type includes internal support type, external clamping type, translational external clamping type, hook type and spring type;

Adsorption type includes magnetic suction type and air suction type.

3. According to the working principle, vacuum suction cups can be divided into several categories? How does it work?

It is divided into three categories according to the working principle:

The vacuum sucker is used to draw out the air of the adsorption head by the vacuum pump to form a vacuum;

Spray suction cups use Bernoulli effect to generate negative pressure. When the fluid speed increases, the pressure on the interface between the object and the fluid will decrease, otherwise the pressure will increase. No special vacuum pump is required with the help of compressed air and vacuum generator;

Squeezing negative pressure suction cup realizes vacuum and releases vacuum by mechanical action, without vacuum pump system and compressed air. The air source is economical and convenient, but its reliability is slightly poor.

4. What are the differences between hydraulic and pneumatic transmission in terms of operating force, transmission performance and control performance?

Operating force. Hydraulic pressure can obtain great linear motion force and slewing force, and the grasping weight is 1000 to 8000N; Small linear motion force and rotation force can be obtained by air pressure, and the grasping weight is less than 300N.

Transmission performance. The hydraulic compressible small transmission is stable, without impact, basically without transmission lag, reflecting a sensitive movement speed of up to 2m/s; Pneumatic compressed air has small viscosity, small pipeline loss, large flow rate and high speed, but poor stability and severe impact at high speed. Generally, the cylinder is 50 to 500mm/s.

Control performance. Hydraulic pressure and flow are easy to control, and stepless speed regulation can be adopted; Low speed air pressure is difficult to control and locate accurately, and servo control is generally not required.

5. What is the difference between the performance of servo motor and stepping motor?

The control accuracy is different (the control accuracy of the servo motor is guaranteed by the rotary encoder at the rear end of the motor shaft, and the control accuracy of the servo motor is higher than that of the stepping motor);

The low frequency characteristics are different (the servo motor runs very smoothly, even at low speed, there will be no vibration. Generally, the low frequency performance of the servo motor is better than that of the stepping motor);

The overload capacity is different (the stepping motor does not have overload capacity, and the servo motor has strong overload capacity);

The operation performance is different (the control of stepping motor is open loop control, and the AC servo drive system is closed loop control);

The speed response performance is different (the acceleration performance of AC servo system is better).
